Casey Script Family
My latest script recalls Casey at the Bat, Ernest Lawrence Thayer’s vivid old baseball poem. But it is also named after my daughter, Casey. Once, fat-bottomed scripts like Casey were everywhere and they’ve barely survived as logos for Campbell’s soup, Ford, Coca-Cola and, of course, the Dodgers. This style is so iconic in its use in sports logos, as well as soft drinks and other products, it may never go out of style. I also saw it used extensively as headline type for a recent magazine (whose name I unfortunately can’t recall).
